Many activities close to Residence Villa Laura
A holiday in Villa Laura apartments in Lignano Pineta offers the opportunity to have fun, relax and play sports in the open air. All within walking distance of your accommodation.
A short walk away, in fact, you will find the windsurfing school, where you can experience the thrill of sliding on the waves of the sea guided by the wind.
If you are not familiar with this marine sport, don’t worry! The staff of the school will teach you in few lessons to control sailing and to have fun on the sea in Lignano.
Ideal for the family is the cycle path that goes along the Lignano Pineta seafront, entering the pine forest of the Bella Italia EFA Village. Immersed in one of the green lungs of our seaside resort, it will take you easily to Lignano Sabbiadoro. The cycle path is also suitable for children, who can enjoy a nice bike ride with mum and dad!
For more than 30 years the Blue Flag has been waving on the beach of Lignano Sabbiadoro, now also flanked by the Green Flag, assigned by Italian pediatricians to tourist destinations suitable for children.
For children there is also the Gommosi playground, located in Parco del Mare. Reachable with a comfortable walk from the Residence Villa Laura, the park with many inflatable games is suitable for children from 1 to 12 years of age, who can play without time limits. Meanwhile, parents can take a break on comfortable benches.
A few hundred meters there is the Aquasplash.
The waterpark in Lignano offers a good alternative to the beach, both for adults and for children: numerous pools, colorful slides of all shapes and types, fast foods and green areas for picnics. Excellent for spending the day from morning until afternoon.
A little further from our apartments in Lignano Pineta, but easily reachable by bus, is the Parco Zoo Punta Verde. It is located in Lignano Riviera, in a bend of the river Tagliamento, and it extends over 10 hectares. The zoo hosts a large variety of animals, all housed in habitats suited to their needs.
It is also possible, upon reservation, to participate in interesting meetings with lemurs, turtles and giraffes!

For a tasty breakfast, close to our apartments, you will find the Bar NetCafe.
You can choose from a wide range of brioches and donuts to be enjoyed on comfortable sofas inside or on the large, recently renovated terrace, accompanied by coffee and cappuccino.
In addition to the sweetness of breakfast, the NetCafe offers also delicious sandwiches, small pizzas and toasts for both lunch and dinner. Do not miss the aperitifs to enjoy with friends.

Do you have to go grocery shopping and don’t know where to go? Don’t want to move the car?
A stone’s throw from Residence Villa Laura you will find the Market Alisei.
Just renovated and with a modern but at the same time familiar style, the market offers everything you need: from fresh fruit and vegetables, to the salami counter with quality products, through detergents, pasta, refrigerated counter, products for breakfast and fresh bread from the bakery.
Here you will find fresh and genuine products every day, accompanied by the kindness of the staff.
To eat a pizza
Near the Market Alisei there is the Restaurant Pizzeria Alisei.
If you want to eat a good pizza at lunch or at dinner, in a moment you can reach the pizzeria and decide whether to eat it there or enjoy it in peace in your apartment.
The menu offers many pizzas, ranging from classic to special, passing through white pizzas, all cooked in a wood oven.
The Alisei Restaurant Pizzeria also specializes in fish dishes, served with elegance and courtesy.
Go to the beach
The beach of Lignano is located 450 meters away from the apartments of Residence Villa Laura.
You can reach through a pleasant walk of about 10 minutes along the streets that cross the pine wood, in the shade of the trees, on sidewalks of streets with very little traffic.
The beach offices 4 and 5, located next to the renowned seaside bar La Pagoda, are the closest to reach. To book the beach umbrella, you can go directly to the cash desks of the beach offices or online at lignanopineta.com.
Shopping
If during your holiday you want to do some shopping, the center of Lignano Pineta awaits you at 350 meters.
A few steps to reach the famous “train” of Pineta, full of clothing and souvenir shops, bars and restaurants, which winds from the square in front of the church to the one facing the sea.
In addition to the shops and pizzerias, there are also arcades for the little ones, bookshops and newsstands and two beautiful squares equipped with benches where you can stop to enjoy an ice cream and to attend events for the whole family.
Tobacco shop
In addition to cigarettes and tobacco in general and stamped values, the tobacco shop near the apartments of Residence Villa Laura offers also a well-stocked newsstand.
Crossing the street after the Pizzeria Alisei, you can buy your favorite newspaper, a newspaper of puzzles and pastime, or a fashion and gossip magazine to browse under the beach umbrella.
There are comics and magazines for children, as well as toys and items for the beach.
The church in Pineta
The church of Cristo Redentore can be reached with a 5-minute walk.
Located in front of Piazzale Rosa dei Venti, that is the center of the spiral on which the whole Lignano Pineta develops, the church dominates the center of Pineta and is characterized by the upward thrust of the roof.
During the summer, Holy Masses are also held in the evening.

Hemingway Park
For a few hours of relaxation in the nature, we suggest you the Hemingway Park.
About 500 meters away from our residence, the park offers playgrounds for children, equipped areas for picnics and paths where you can walk in tranquility.
In the center of the park is located a small arena with stage and seats, in which take place shows, especially for children.
The park is dedicated to the writer Ernest Hemingway who has stayed several times in Lignano for both work and vacation, defining the city “the Florida of Europe“.
The Monday market
About ten minutes walk away, on Monday morning you can go to the Lignano market.
Located near the Teghil stadium and the Aquasplash, it is the reference point for all tourists who want to spend a morning among stalls of clothing, leather goods, fruit, vegetables and local cheeses.
There are also refreshment points with tables and benches, where you can take a break, sip a drink or eat an ice cream.
Bella Italia EFA Village
The apartments of the Residence Villa Laura are near the Bella Italia EFA Village.
The sport and tourist village is only 2 km away from our accommodation and is immersed in a huge pine wood, directly on the beach.
The Residence Villa Laura can accomodate the families of the athletes involved in the different competitions, take place at the Bella Italia EFA Village throughout the year.
Our apartments, in fact, can accommodate you even during the winter, as they are equipped with heating.
